I-9 Form
The I-9 is a form an employer uses to determine whether the requested documents for verifying employment eligibility are genuine and relate to the individual. Once the information is verified, it is recorded on the form. The form must be filed and kept by the employer either for three years after the date of hire or for one year after employment is terminated, whichever is later.
